God's beautiful world.
God's beautiful world.
I love God's beautiful world.
He made it for you.
He made it for me.
I love God's beautiful world.
When I was a young child Sunday morning always meant Sunday School and Miss Mary Jane. Miss Mary Jane was my Sunday School teacher for several years. She always greeted each child with a huge warm smile. Since she never had children of her own, we all considered ourselves her adopted grandchildren. Her voice rang out and could be heard down the halls. I remember two in particular. One I believe she made up. "This is what the clock says tick tock, tick tock. This is what the clock says tick tock, tick tock. This is what the clock says tick tock, tick tock." Come to Sunday School at nine forty-five o'clock. She would always click her tongue instead of saying tick tock. We all loved singing the tune and clicking our tongues at the right time. Not a masterpiece but effective in reminding us to be prompt! :-)
The other song was God's Beautiful World. We sang this each Sunday and were reminded that our beautiful world was a gift from God created just for us. As a mother, I often sang this song with my own children. We were usually huddled together swinging on the front porch of our home looking at all of the beauty around us.
This week Miss Mary Jane passed away. Now, I am sure she is in the presence of God. I am so thankful that I was able to know and love her while she was here on earth. She blessed so many children with her kindness and sweet spirit.
My Dear Daughter and her husband are in Oregon on vacation. She sent me these pictures today as she was hiking in the snow. A wonderful example of God's Beautiful World! Blessings!

Going to try this again - typed a comment and hit the wrong key.
