Dealing With......A Cold

This picture looks like an advertisement for CVS!  I will say that CVS is my friend but this post is about dealing with a cold.  You  know what I am talking about!  One of those good old fashioned colds. Runny nose, headache, cough, general malaise just to mention a few of the wonderful symptoms that go along with this well known friend.  I know that I will feel better......eventually but right now not so much.

The "good" thing about having a cold is that we are forced to slow down.  No excuses!  No work. Just rest.  I am watching some TV, reading a good book, and knitting.  I have tried every flavor of hot tea you can imagine and my kleenex box is my best friend.

Sundays are supposed to be for rest.  Rest for the body and soul.  Perhaps we all need this lesson reinforced.  So even though I have a cold, I am going to try to look at this as a blessing in disguise. A really good excuse to take it easy.  Probably the very best way of "Dealing With.....A Cold".

Blessings!

  2. Nothing like a little bed rest to renew one's plans. Hope you're feeling better. If you find yourself thinking of new projects......it's time to hit the shower and get back on schedule.

I haven't had a cold but I had something very, very bad. I wrote about it on my Valentine's "Lovesick" blog.

    Take care.
