Blogland is full of savvy shoppers. We are all looking for that great deal. "Something for nothing", is our motto! Last week I discovered some great deals at one of my favorite stores, Pier One. The bright colors and unusual decor make my heart flutter every time I go in. That is why I rarely go in! Ha!
New chair pads, potholders (you should have seen my old ones), and even a matching apron! I love the patterns and I think it has given my kitchen a little spark.
On to Olde Time Pottery for these small salad plates. Only 25 cents! Who could resist that? They go with everything and really brighten my table scape. I found a piece of red burlap in my sewing room stash that made the perfect tablecloth!
Mr. Snowman was lurking in the garden shed. He is very old and was VERY dirty. After a good scrubbing and some clorox he looks great as my centerpiece.
I enjoy my meals even more now that my decor had a little winter boost! I just LOVE a sale.....Don't You?
Your Winter table setting is so pretty! A pretty place to have a meal or just a cup of coffee. Great deal on the plates. I would not want anyone to see some of my pot holders - have not cleaned that drawer out yet. :-D I tried to be good and stayed away from the after Christmas sales this year. The Olde Time Pottery here closed a while back - sure hated to see them go.
