One embroidery project down and hundreds more to go! I am really enjoying my new software now. The only problem is finding the time to do everything. The possibilities are endless but that is a good thing! :-)
For my first project I used some quilted place mats. They were on the clearance isle and I figured why not? I embroidered Rest in the center and then made another one saying Relax. I will sew around the edge, stuff, and have two pillows to enjoy! Simple! The place mats have scalloped edges so they look really professional. My quest bedroom will get a mini face lift and my quests will know just what to do. Rest and Relax!
So Pretty - really like the white on white! Looks like you did not have any problems figuring the new software out. :D Years ago I bought some burgundy colored, velveteen placemats on sale at Pier 1 for less than a dollar each on sale (left over Christmas items). I added some pretty trim and made pillows. Don't remember now if I gave them away or sold in a garage sale.
