Recently a dear friend of mine shared one of her new food finds. She is an excellent cook so my ears perked up when she told me about a new product she had discovered.... Cinnamon Chips!
In our area of the country they are rather hard to find, so when I saw them on the grocery shelf I purchased several bags.
The recipe for Oatmeal Cinnamon Chips Cookies is on the bag. Yummy! The dough is really stiff because it is full of all kinds of goodies.....nuts, raisins, oatmeal, cinnamon. You get the picture.
My husband said they were the best cookies I had ever made. Incredible was the word he used! He stays close to the stove anytime I bake them. A cold glass of milk and a hot cookie...Yum.
Hershey's Cinnamon Chips......A Good Thing.......A Very Good Thing! Go grab a bag and enjoy!
Oh my! That cookie looks so good - I need one to go with my coffee this morning. I did not know about cinnamon chips, but I rarely bake anymore.

They used to have these, years ago, and then they disappeared. I'm so glad they're back, I'll be on the lookout. They're great in pancakes too!
ReplyDeleteThese look great. I think that they might have been on the market years ago. I think I had a recipe using cinnamon chips that we loved but I had to stop making it because I couldn't find them locally. I'm definitely looking for these on my next grocery trip.
