Thumbs Up!

Webster's dictionary defines thumbs-up as: an instance or gesture of approval or encouragement. Today receives a definite "thumbs-up" in my book. My daughter's 24th birthday gave my family and I a reason to celebrate and that's just what we did!


My dear husband and I met my daughter and son-in-law for a delicious birthday brunch. The food and the company were perfect. We don't get to see each other very often so moments like today are precious!

It is hard to believe how fast twenty four years have passed. My daughter has matured into a beautiful young lady (inside and out). I couldn't be any prouder of her accomplishments. Strong, independent, self motivated, loving, and caring would be just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe her. She definitely gets a "thumbs-up" from her Dad and I! :-)


Oh, I forgot to mention the name of the restaurant......Thumbs Up Diner of course. As you can tell from the smiles on all our faces it was truly a "thumbs-up" kind of day! Happy Birthday Dear Daughter! Love you bunches!
