Super Bolt Sunday

My excitement today is not directed at the Super Bowl but rather the Super Bolt! All of my favorite shops are having wonderful sales (or what we might call girl time) in honor of the Super Bowl. I visited one of my favorite quilt shops today after church. What fun! The parking lot was the first indication that something special was in store. It was packed. My husband was in awe at the number of cars. He was kind enough to wait patiently while I braved the crowd. The customers were all in a great mood. It was "our time" before the game. LOL


Pretty little bundles were sitting all over the store, just tempting us all to buy the kit. I resisted. We won't talk about how many "little bundles" I already had at home! :-) I apologize for the blurry pictures. I was using the camera on my phone. I was trying to be sneaky! :-)


I couldn't leave empty handed! the entire store was 25% off! That would have been wrong, wrong, wrong! My comrades would have wondered what was wrong with me.

I am not ignoring the rite of football. I actually LOVE football. I have my chili in the crock pot. The ingredients for the dips are laying on the counter. The soft drinks are chilling in the refrigerator. My knitting is all laid out on the sofa. Yes I am ready for the game, but I will have to admit that the best thing about Supper Bowl Sunday is the excuse it produces for women to have a little girl time, otherwise known as Supper Bolt Sunday! Enjoy the game!!
