He Went To Jared's! I have always wanted to say that! I know that you have all seen the commercial for Jared Jewelry. You know the one where the women say in jealous tones, "He went to Jared's". Well my dear Hubby went to Jared's for Valentine's Day.
He stuck to our rule for a "simple" Valentine's Day and bought a charm for my Pandora bracelet. It is the everlasting love charm and I couldn't be happier. Valentine's Day has more that one meaning for us because our first date was on Valentine's Day when we were only 15. Yes, a long time ago! It was a local high school basketball game. I told him we should go to one tonight, but I think a movie at home is on the agenda instead.
Dear husband's favorite cake is chocolate, so of course I had to make him one. I purchased some small cake pans at Crate and Barrel. They worked great. The special plates came home with me from Hobby Lobby. Chocolate covered strawberries make the treat somewhat healthy....Right?!
Enjoy your Valentine's Day. I hope you and your loved ones have an extra special holiday!
Your charm is gorgeous. What a special gift. I love the cake and strawberries also, on such pretty plates. Have a super day. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYour charm is so pretty! Yes ! The strawberries will make it healthy (in my opinion). :-D
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your evening.
Awww, that was a sweet gift he gave you and your gift to him was sweet as well! Hope you're enjoying a nice evening together!

Wonderful!! This was a delight to read about. My husband said just recently during one of those commercials that he almost went to Jared's one day at lunchtime.... instead, he went to Zales and I'm equally thrilled this Valentine's Day, as so many other days.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful day. The charm is lovely. :)
Love the charm! Having something you collect makes gift giving a lot easier for the husbands in the world.
ReplyDeleteIt's so neat that you guys had your first date when you were 15. That is impressive!
